GIRL MEETS BOY

I very much like -one of my favorite style is- the tailored, elegant and sharp look on women, so this time I found some -for me- exciting stuff on Net-a-porter.com. It was girl meets boy at the 2011 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards in New York. While models Doutzen Kroes and Joan Smalls opted for glamorous, floor-sweeping lace by Theyskens’ Theory and a thigh-split shift, Jenna Lyons and Jessica Stam both cut sharp silhouettes in pantsuits paired with pointed pumps. Whose look do you like best?

...and here's one more fav pic, not from this night, but the concept is very similar.

The Auction

Dazed and Confused Magazine held a Charity eBay auction called 'THE DAZED TIME CAPSULE AUCTION' from 20th November - 27th November.
For Dazed & Confused’s anniversary issue, they asked their family of fashion collaborators – designers, stylists and make-up artists – to select one personal memento that sums up the last two decades for them, and send it in to become part of their “time capsule”. The result was a unique visual memoir and tribute to the last 20 years in fashion. Dazed were giving the world the chance to own a little piece of fashion history in an auction of the entire collection. All proceeds went to Oxfam.

These Karen Langley’s Natacha Marro extreme ballerinas were my favorite item of all. :)

Michael Clark and the members of his dance company were shot for the third issue of AnOther Magazine by Nick Knight, styled by Katy England and Sofia De Romarate.

Which item did you like most?
