I always seek for and try to find some hot, new designs to see what future designers are up to and what direction are future looks headed towards. Whether it is graphic, interior or fashion I am always curious what they come up with next. I discovered on www.design-dautore.com some new home accessories and some of them are pretty interesting and imaginative. Like the following 'unidentified object' what I needed to check further to find out what it is used for, because the picture wasn’t explanatory enough for me. :) It is called The Bidum and here’s a short video about how it really looks like, and as I discovered its use is actually not specified it is up to you to define what it contains. Movement is what makes Bidum beautiful and fascinating.
Here's the picture and the video.

...and here are some others I found interesting:
Poki by halloessen (Holm Giessler & Jennifer Heimann)
Poki is a drawer furniture that combines stiff wood with cosy textile to a flexible, playfull and functional storage space. Inspired by old danish sewing tables.
The Designchain by Alan Hucks
Thomas,Edison and Ava - Wall Knob by llot llov
Hanging Air Plant Pods are the latest creation from American Artist Michael McDowell
Schizo Vase by OOOMS
Benny Brush Shoe Polisher by Stefano Giovannoni
...and finally Nooka from www.nooka.com , which apparently has more of a philosophical meaning than practical use in your home, but the design is certainly spectacular.
